Finishing floors on a house garage or basement can be a lot of fun. We usually put a troweled finish on them. It is usually called burned off. This means that you have troweled the concrete until it has become solid and cannot be made any smoother. We use power trowels to do this. In the winter time this can become a very long and drawn out process. It can be a real killer in the summer time though if it is hot and windy.
